'He's a Good, Good Father"

In the words and memory of my "brother from another Mother" . . .

     I heard this Chris Tomlin song for the first time a few days ago . . .it's lyrics remind me of one of my favorite scriptures, from Matthew 7:11, that reminds me that even as I want the best for family and others in my life, God continually has me beat in wanting His Best:
     "If you, then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!" (NIV version)
