Dancing Preachers' Sabrina McKenzie hosting Domestic Violence Awareness Day at Georgia Capitol

ATLANTA — She's known as one of the liturgical dance world's most-known leaders and teachers and preachers, and in February 2017, she's be walking in another one of her anointing: that as a leader and mover and shaker in politics and policy.
     "She" is Pastor Sabrina McKenzie, the founder and head of the International Dance Commission and Dancing Preachers International and E.P.I.C.:  On Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, she'll be hosting the first Georgia Domestic Violence Awareness Day at the State's Capitol.  This event runs 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  
     The event is free, and pre-registration is encouraged.
     Speakers are to include Rep. George Mitchell; Belisa M. Urbana of Hispanics Against Domestic Violence; Rhonda Thompson, founder of Rose of Sharon; and 'Queen of Comedy' Sommore, Demetria McKinney, an actress; LeLee Lyons, of the R&B group SWV: Ashlee Wilson Hawn, of "Big Rich Atlanta;" many others.
