ATLANTA --- Sabrina McKenzie, of Dancing Preachers International, is coordinating praise-dancers for the Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade in March 2016 in Atlanta.
The first rehearsal was Monday, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s official holiday; contact Pastor Sabrina for additional scheduled rehearsal dates. She is preparing two dances for this ministry.
Pastor Sabrina notes that this event acknowledges a growing realization that praise dance is part of the corporate worship experience, as the worship-dance has been invited to join the singers and other worship artists in this ministry outreach to the nations.
In an email note to her IDC friends, Pastor Sabrina writes: "This is a historical event that usually sees about 60, 000 people and the very first time that praise dance will be incorporated. We have seen the ministry of music change in many ways! The use of media, lighting and dance ministry mixed with the 'new' sound of worship, just 10 years ago, would not have been received in most churches! As many churches have changed the way they reach people, it has been extremely important to the message and focus of Jesus Christ never changes! There is something so powerful when a large group of people get together and begin to sing, dance and praise! "
This event is March 5 and 6, 2016, at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
