BIRMINGHAM — Alabama is celebrating its annual "Dance Across Alabama" festival, which started Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, and run through Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016.
This is the annual celebration of dance across the state of Alabama, running for 10 glorious days.
Guests can meet noted choreographer and artistic director Jessica Lang, of Jessica Lang Dance, and visual artist Larry Thompson, from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Space One Eleven.
From 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Sunday, Jan. 31, there will be professional and pre-professional dance classes taught by various teachers throughout the city.
Many other classes available; please check online.
Rates range from $55 to 160 for participating dancers (youth and adults).
