Several years ago, Sabrina McKenzie, head of the International Dance Commission, was led to observe the ministry of praise dance by declaring a day to observe it.
She started in her home in Georgia, having the state legislative declare a Liturgical Dance Day in the state.
She's at it again, and the designated day --- Sept. 7 --- is almost upon us. Sand and praise dancers in the Greater ATL plan to mark the day with prayer, community service and dancing.
If you're observing the day, share with His Hem Ministry readers what your ministry or dance region is planning! The International Dance Commission has also issued a Liturgical Day Challenge, calling on dance ministries to share a 30- to 60-second video clip of them ministering, in observance of the day; read the flier below for more details.
