Black History Month: Jocelyn Richard, The Praise Dance Life
Today's Black History Month Tribute is for Jocelyn Richard, founder of The Praise Dance Life.
Jocelyn's ministry is most notable for her early embrace of technology, as early as 2009, to teach audiences far away from her, most notable her early TalkShoe Radio conference-calls programming.
She also teaches at workshops across the country and was also an early embracer of dancing in "anointed garments" those that attempted to represent and mirror the beauty and glory of The Lord.
Jocelyn is also an author, having written books on worship dance and garments — "Phenomenal Choreography For Worship" — and still teaches others about praise dance through her Praise Dance Online School.
She holds a bachelor of arts in dance from The City College of New York, where she started in liturgical dance.
